Allow between $180 and $200 per week for either homestay (boarding) or flatting. This cost will normally cover food and utilities such as power (see accommodation)
Allow at least $500 for travel within NZ as part of course requirements (this figure may be higher if you live outside of Wellington).
Travel to and from class and your agency is at your own expense. Once your accommodation and agency are arranged we can give you an idea of how much to set aside for this.
Praxis may provide a scholarship for international students who meet all of the scholarship criteria.
The scholarships help to reduce tuition fees, and are aimed at making the courses more accessible to people who are not in a position to meet the full amount. Scholarships are normally negotiated between the partner group and Praxis on behalf of an applicant. Enquiries about scholarships should be initiated by your local organisation and directed to neo@praxis.org.nz
All other costs (travel, accommodation), must be met.
