Located in the student district of central Wellington, , the classroom is easily accessible by public transport from the suburbs (up to 45 minutes by bus and/or train).
We are close to lots of great cafes and art galleries and within 20 minutes walk of most parts of the central city (including railway station, libraries, national museum and harbour).
The classroom includes a student lounge area, a small kitchen (with basic facilities for making lunch), a shower, and a library. Although there are meeting spaces at the classroom, small group meetings are often held at local cafes.
Located in Papanui, Northwest Christchurch, the classroom is part of the Windermere School complex, which is also shared by other Christian groups who share our focus on youth and education. Other groups on the property include Bible College of New Zealand, Te Ora Hou (working with Maori youth), an alternative school and Youth Forever Trust (working with Muslim youth).

Staffing National Co-ordinator Lloyd Martin is based in Wellington, and is responsible for the overall running of Praxis. He is accessible to all students for information and advice, and will buy the coffee. Lloyd is responsible for student enrolments and welfare and is specifically responsible for international students and can help you with orientation, enquiries about accommodation, and any issues that arise during your stay in New Zealand.

Based in Wellington, and Christchurch, each course co-ordinator works with a class of up tp approximately 12 students. You will be assigned to a class depending on where you choose to study. The course co-ordinator is responsible for your timetable, the assessment of your academic work, your practical work experience (agency) and any day to day needs.
Based in Wellington (but accessible by phone), Claire Ross is a qualified counsellor who is available to students at any time (if you are in Christchurch, Claire can refer you to a local counsellor). Claire will make contact with you 2-3 weeks after your arrival to check that you have settled in okay and to offer you ongoing support if you want it.You can access Claire at any time in complete confidentiality, and without having to let anyone else at Praxis know. If you wish to seek counselling with Claire or with another (approved) counsellor, Praxis will automatically pay for the first 3 sessions, and will negotiate after that.(04) 568 4128 Supervisor. We will help you find a supervisor for the year; an older person of the same gender. It is a course requirement that you take the initiative to meet fortnightly with this person to reflect on your practical work and study, and for guidance. You are not expected to pay for supervision.
