How is the Course Structured? The Ola Fou course is taught over four block courses, these are spaced over 15 months. Block Course 1 is taught in each participating country and is open to anyone who is involved in working with young people. In 2009 Block Course 1 will be held in these countries:
Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga
Selection of participants for the rest of Ola Fou will take place at Block Course 1. The next three block courses will be held in Fiji and travel to these block courses is paid for by Ola Fou.
We complete all of the teaching at each block course. At the end of each block course each student is given some assignment work to complete before the next block course. Before the next block course they will be visited by a member of the Ola Fou team. Travel to the next block course will only be organised if the assignment work is completed to a high standard.
