If your course application is declined, any deposit you have paid will be refunded in full. If you decide to withdraw before the course starts, any deposit you have paid is refundable in full up until one week before the course begins, as long as you notify Praxis in writing. If you have been issued with a library book or other course materials, these must be returned before your deposit is refunded.
By the end of Feburary, either full fees or a letter confirming application for loans & allowances should be presented.
You should advise your course co-ordinator if you intend to apply for a student loan, as this may take a little longer. All fees that remain unpaid eight weeks after the start date of the course will attract a $250 surcharge.
If you decide to withdraw from the course during the year you must fill out a Course Withdrawal Form which is available from the Praxis National Office or in the student section of the website.
This must be sent back to Praxis, once received, any refund due will be calculated and actioned.
A full refund of tuition fees, less $400 to cover first Block Course costs will be made if you withdraw within two weeks of the start of the course. If you withdraw between 2 and 4 weeks of the start of course 80% of your tuition fees will be refunded. Refunds after this time will be at the discretion of Praxis. The replacement cost of any unreturned library books or equipment will be deducted from any refund due.
