Thank you for your prayers. We continue to work on getting a direct relationship with TEC in order to get Praxis approved for course funding for 2009 (our relationship with Whitireia Polytechnic finishes at the end of this year). We have had tremendous support from across the youth work sector –always nice to find out that you’re loved.
Our big concern at this stage is whether the TEC process this year will even allow us to put our case forward. We understand that TEC may simply release list of ‘industries’ that can apply for 2009, and if youth work isn’t on it, we won’t have a chance.
We should know over the next two weeks if this is the case. Please keep praying! (and get them banners ready).

...and any other Christian youth focused events. Would you like us to pay for your ticket?
We are looking for people who would like to go along and promote Praxis by talking to people, handing out info and running a stall (where we are able to have one). We would pay for 1-3 people to attend each event (past or present students would get preference). Interested? Contact Lloyd@praxis.org.nz and make a deal!
